What is the purpose of this form?

The main purpose of this form is to formally register you as a member of the Epping Forest Business Group, and to add you to our website. This will increase the chances of prospects finding you online and learning more about your business. It will also help other members refer you more effectively.

It is imperative that your details are accurate, so please complete carefully and check before submitting. We recommend that you make it as easy as possible for people to contact you directly where possible, as 'people buy people' and you are more likely generate more business this way.

Do I need to supply web links for everything listed?

No, but we highly recommend supplying links for the pages you have and work on setting up pages for those you don’t at a later date. If you need help or advise on setting up social media pages, you can speak with Angie Phillips who specializes in branding and social media. You can also get advise from Arhon Ankhkara who can help and advise you on setting up a website.

Tips for completing your business profile

We would recommend between 100 - 150 words for your business profile description, though you can write more if you feel necessary. Please note: anything more than the above will be displayed as a 'Read more' link.

Is my profile picture important?

Yes, please provide the best photo you have of yourself. A photo will help clients 'connect' with you as a person, making them far more likely to make contact. We recommend using a professionally taken photo if possible with a plain white or neutral background. if you do not have one, feel free to use the best image you have for now, and speak to Stephen Pover our resident Photographer.

How long will it take for my profile to appear on the website?

Your profile will be added by the web designer: Arhon Ankhkara. This is usually added within just a couple of days.

What details are actually displayed on the website?

The only details that will not be displayed are your email address and your business address. We feel it is not a good idea to show your email address online due to potential spamming. Your business address will not be displayed, however, a link to your business address will be provided if you have a Google My Business profile setup. If you need advise on this, please contact Arhon.
